The practice of my art making gathers a quiet trace of my internal presence to my dwelling in this world. The method of making a mark is a focused gesture in my drawing. I am contemplative of my physical presence in the space while abiding within fullness of the Eternal presence. My practice of art is meditative and filled with my intuition, formulated by a tapestry of experiences.In this practice, my control of the medium is limited. Thus the exchange between the phenomenal elements of the drawing and my internal mental phenomena are in an ethereal dance. One gives presence to the other and each are changing in response to the interaction. This is intentionality within the work: the correlating phenomena are stretching out towards me and I am reaching back.
